简介： 纽约贫民区住着一个意大利人，名叫里昂（尚·雷诺饰），他是一名职业杀手。一天，邻居家小姑娘马蒂尔达敲开他的房门，要求在他这里暂避杀身之祸。原来，邻居家的主人是警察的眼线，只因含污了一小包毒品而遭恶警剿灭全家的惩罚。在全家都惨遭黑帮毒手之后，马蒂尔达央求杀手里昂训练她，让她成为和他一样的杀手，以便为家人报仇。 马蒂尔达得到里昂的留救，开始帮里昂管家并教其识字，里昂则教她使枪，天真无邪、古怪精灵的马蒂尔达唤醒了外表冷漠的里昂内心的温情，两人相处融洽。马蒂尔达跟踪恶警，贸然去报仇，反倒被抓。里昂及时赶到，将她救回。他们再次搬家，但马蒂尔达还是落入恶警之手。里昂撂倒一片警察，再次救出马蒂尔达并让她通过通风管道逃生，并嘱咐她去把他积攒的钱取出来。里昂化装成警察想混出包围圈，但被恶警识破。最后一刻，里昂引爆了身上的炸弹…… 《这个杀手不太冷》由著名导演吕克·贝松执导，是一部完全美国好莱坞式的法国导演作品，例如其中有一幕戏在公寓内，短短12分钟就发射了350发子弹的速度完全是好莱坞的作风；但其中的影像风格及故事情节仍保留了法国片特有的表现手法，是部有艺术感的商业电影。 马蒂尔达的扮演者娜塔莉·波特曼被媒体称为“奥黛丽·赫本第二”的（Natalie Portman）。1994年，12岁的娜塔莉从2000名候选者中脱颖而出，被大导演吕克·贝松（Luc Besson）相中，出演《这个杀手不太冷》，从此一炮而红。

玛蒂尔达问莱昂，如果我死了你会怎样？莱昂说，没什么。 ——(m)I hope you're not lying.leon.I really hope that deep down inside there's no love in you.Because if there is just a little bit of love in there for me.I think that in a few minutes you'll regret you never said anything.I love you.leon.

玛蒂尔达将莱昂总是随身的一株绿色植物种在了花园里的一个棵树下，
