Part–Time Job Opening
Looking 4: Catalan-ES, Danish, Portuguese Native Speakers (1 person for each language)
Working location: Chinasoft Resource Inc. (55 Xueyuan South Road, nearby Beijing Jiaotong University)
Job type: Part-time
Job description:
1.
Verification and modification of text lines based on listening to audio data files;
2.
Verification and modification of lexicon;
3.
Documentation/validation on language specification according to local usage, such as in Australian English, document what is the format of zip code, how many digit will it contain, will it be pronounced as digit string or natural number; filter company names from a list of all kinds of names(company name, country name, city name etc), etc.
4.
No more than 30 working hours per month, 5 month or so duration. Working time can be dynamically arranged during 9 o’clock to 18 o’clock, Monday to Friday, based on the schedules from both sides.
5.
Working begins from middle of July.
Requirements:
1. Catalan native speaker from Spain, Danish native speaker from Denmark, Portuguese native speaker from Portugal, Polish native speaker from Poland:
Please kindly note that many language features are local usage related, such as a city name in India might be totally unknown for a English native speaker from UK. So this is not only an accent issue, native speakers from other area will not be suitable for this job.
2. Academic backgrounds in linguistic field are preferred，though not required.
